Darlene & Dan | Married! 07.15.11 | Kirkbrae Country Club Wedding | Rhode Island Wedding Photographer!

This is Darlene and Dan, who you may remember from their two separate engagement shoots! They were referred to me by Tracy and Ryan, who I am forever grateful to… they have brought so many cool people into my life! I started the day at a nearby hotel where Darlene and her ladies (including Tracy!) were getting ready. We then headed to Sacred Heart Parish in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, for the ceremony. Sacred Heart is Dan’s childhood parish, so it was very special to them! We then headed to Kirkbrae Country Club in Lincoln, Rhode Island, for some awesome outdoor formals and the reception! The dancing continued well into the night, and it was a total blast… especially seeing lots of people I knew from Tracy and Ryan’s March wedding.  🙂 Enjoy!

Julie | Portrait Session! | Maine Lifestyle Photographer!

This is Julie, an awesome lady that I met thanks to Facebook! She was interested in doing a shoot with her and her two doggies, and her husband Mike came along as pup wrangler… and he managed to sneak in a few photos, too.  🙂 We chose Fuller Farms in Scarborough (the link there is actually from Julie’s blog!), and it was gorgeous… lots of tall grass, flowers, and absolutely no one around but us. Really awesome! Julie rocked her shoot, and the dogs were surprisingly cooperative — the crazy heat may have helped with that. 😉 Also, if any of you readers are looking for a day school for your own puppies, check out Julie’s! It’s called Dances with Dogs in South Portland, Maine, and from what I can tell she is very successful, and popular among the dog world. 🙂

 

Heidi & Mike | Family Session! | Maine Family & Lifestyle Photographer!

This is Heidi and Mike, two AWESOME parents who I got to spend the morning with back in June (of 2011… wow, I am behind with blog posts!). They have three amazing boys who also came along to the shoot, and we basically just spent the morning playing at Willard Beach in South Portland, Maine. How lucky am I? At the time, they lived right down the street from Willard Beach, so it was an obvious choice for their family session location. Their boys were HILARIOUS and so fun to play with, and Heidi and Mike were excellent — the five of them spent the whole shoot laughing, playing, and exploring together. Lucky kids. Enjoy!

Ellen & Kraig | Married! 07.09.11 | Codman Estate Wedding | Massachusetts Wedding Photographer!

This is Ellen and Kraig, a ridiculously good-looking and very down-to-earth couple. They were married at the Codman Estate in Lincoln, Massachusetts, and let me tell you… photographs do NOT do this place justice. The ceremony took place in their Italian gardens, and it was spectacular. The whole day was great from start to finish. Ellen and Kraig wanted to get all of the wedding party and solo photographs out of the way, so they opted to see each other before the ceremony and we did some really hilarious (and some really romantic) photos. The ceremony itself was beautiful, with several readings from family and friends. Then everyone headed down to the carriage house for the reception (with outdoor seating for dinner). Lovely!

Megan & Adam | Married! 07.03.11 | Anthony’s Pier 4 Wedding | Boston Wedding Photographer

This is Megan and Adam! They were married at Anthony’s Pier 4 in South Boston, which is a pretty incredible spot if you ask me. The room where the ceremony took place had an incredible view of the bay and the Boston skyline, there was fantastic food, and the whole atmosphere was extremely classy while still being laid-back. They had a beautiful ceremony, and once the reception got started there was some CRAZY dancing — always my favorite! Adam also brought along his 1970 Buick LeSabre, so we obviously got a few shots with it.  😉 Enjoy!

This is Megan and Adam! They were married at Anthony’s Pier 4 in South Boston, which is a pretty fantastic spot if you ask me. The room where the ceremony was held had a fantastic view of the bay and the city skyline, the food was fantastic, and the whole atmosphere was extremely classy yet laid-back. Their ceremony was beautiful, the whole wedding party was hilarious, and once the reception got into full swing we saw some crazy dancing – an ideal wedding day! Adam also had his 1970 Buick LeSabre at the wedding as a getaway car, so we made sure to get a few shots with it – of course. 🙂

Chelsea & Zeke | Married! 07.02.11 | Maine Maritime Museum Wedding | Maine Wedding Photographer!

This is Chelsea and Zeke! They were married at the Maine Maritime Museum in Bath, Maine, on a gorgeous July day. Chelsea wore the most adorable tea-length wedding dress, and the way Zeke looked at her all day? Swoon! Every woman should be so lucky. We were able to take photos right by the water, and they opted to do First Look photos before the ceremony – such an awesome, emotional thing to witness! The whole day was freaking perfect, from their tear-filled ceremony to their rockin’ reception (complete with props for the dance floor!). Enjoy!

Jen & Jon | Married! 06.25.11 | Portland Company Complex Wedding | Maine Wedding Photographer

This is Jen & Jon on their wedding day! I just recently posted photographs from their rehearsal dinner, which was amazing, but Saturday was the big day. Natasha and I met Jen at the Hilton Garden Inn, and Natasha got to work on Jen’s makeup. We then headed down to the water so Jen & Jon could do some First Look photos, which were awesome! If you’re considering doing them, I vote YES! They’re always extremely emotional, and it’s a fantastic time for the couple to see each other and spend a few quiet moments together before the chaos of the day. They had their ceremony on one of Portland’s Discovery Boats, which was awesome, and then headed to the Portland Company Complex for their reception. I absolutely loved the look of this place, both inside and out. Very industrial, lots of exposed brick, and just an extremely unique reception spot… very fitting for Jen & Jon’s wedding day! After the reception we headed to Bubba’s Sulky Lounge for some crazy light-up-floor dance action. 😉

Jen & Jon | Rehearsal Dinner! 06.24.11 | Maine Wedding Photographer!

This is Jen and Jon, and their very casual rehearsal dinner! They got together with some of their guests at Jen’s parents’ home in Portland and dined on some delicious snacks while having a beer tasting. What’s better than that? Each room of the house was filled with laughing, chatting people, and the beer flowed all night – they even sent me home with a few bottles of beer that Jon’s family had home-brewed. Awesome!

This is Ashley and Chris, and their beautiful daughter, Audrey! Ashley was referred to me by Tracy and Ryan, who have been the BEST referral sources ever, always sending me the most awesome people to work with. Ashley really wanted some shots of Audrey while she was tiny, so we met at the Public Gardens in Boston on a somewhat cold and rainy June day. Audrey was pretty iffy about having her photo taken, so many of them have her crying, but I still think they’re adorable.  😉
